Inspiration for innovations – “Agropro” at exhibition “Food Ingredients Europe 2017”

Organic hemp products of UAB “Agropro” have been presented successfully at the exhibition “Food Ingredients Europe 2017” (Fi Europe) held in Frankfurt, Germany, on 28-30 November 2017.

The head of “Agropro” Paulius Paršeliūnas notes that such high-level exhibitions are of particular importance for the companies seeking to expand their export volumes, looking for new markets or wishing to update the range of products, to learn about the new achievements in the food industry.

According to the organizers of “Fi Europe”, since the commencement of organizing the exhibition in 1986, it attracted more than 0.5 million of visitors. More than 1,500 food companies arrive at the exhibition from all over the world: they share experiences, establish contacts with manufacturers, suppliers, technologists and scientists.

New winds in the world of food ingredients

One of the largest and most important exhibitions for food ingredients made it possible to familiarise with the latest fashions and innovations in the field of food. This year, special attention has been paid to proteins.

“The most striking trend that we noticed and fixed at the exhibition is the growing demand for proteins. The interest in protein products used for flavouring a wide variety of food products starting from beverages to bakery is currently enormous in the world. Vegetable proteins extracted from hemp, rice, oats and other crops have become particularly relevant. The more natural and the higher concentrations of proteins are included in the composition of food, the more satisfied the customers are,” P. Paršeliūnas shares his impression.

“Fi Europe” exhibition – Festival of food

The “Fi Europe” exhibition is held every two years. This exhibition attracts the largest food and drink manufacturers and suppliers from all over the world; the scientists present the most uncontemplated food technologies and research; visitors are offered the opportunity to familiarise themselves with innovative food ingredients and the latest trends in the food industry.
