Nutriens in hemp are useful for osteoporosis prevention
Osteoporosis is a skeleton disease where a lower than normal bone mass leads to bone weakness. This disease usually does not have any symptoms, its main consiquence is bone fractures. Prophylaxis of this disease is recommended for the elderly. Risk of osteoporosis increases after menopause due to lower levels of estrogen.
Some scientific studies have concluded, that humans that do not get the right amount of fatty acids, especially GLA and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) – have a higher risk of lower bone mass, than those who get enough of these acids.
Hemp is a natural source of omega-6 fatty acids and gamma-lionelic acids. These acids are have a positive effect on the human body and, if consumed constantly, have a chance of lowering the risk of osteoporosis.
